Do any of the tech heads here use audacity for there editing of audio?
If so how can i make it stop it from playing everything at me in chipmunk speed?
And if not whats a good free app to do this with?

Download cooledit, snatto. Grab it from mininova. It's the best sound editing tool out there. I highly recommend it. I can post the file somewhere if you really need it probably.

Your problem was that you were saving the audio as 32 sample rate when it needs to be at least 44.1 - in some programs it'll make you sound like a chipmunk when the audio was set as 32.
