Would be good if someone went, just to get a few pics.

"Bring back Jo Bailey! I want to know why she was sacked, and what she was wearing!"

Tee hee.

I'm thinking about it - if I'm in Melbourne that day, which may not be the case. Unfortunately, I only own a film camera, which may not still work. So, um, I'm pretty useless. move along, nothing to see here...

Im certainly thinking about it but like Menagers said im worried ill turn up in my satiny caftan and be the only one there,or just me and a few giggling school kids.
Altough having lived in St kilda im sure id fit right in in my caftan...also im now very tempted to make up a 'Too much cool, not enough Gang' sign,if i go i will be taking digital cam so more than happy to upload photos etc...

I'll be at work Monday the 5th I'll try to see if I can slip out unnoticed in a satiny caftan. My girlfriend's thinking about going (she gets a four day weekend, you see! unlike old me :-(), so there should be at least one rep from our household!

If at least two of you can commit to wearing the kaftan then it's all be Kool, and there'll be enough of the Gang. (Sorry, bad pun!)

Ah, film cameras still have what it takes! I love both film and digital for different reasons.... just put in a new battery and I'm sure the camera will be fine, and when you develop them the photo shop can stick em on a Cd for $5.

Anyone who's going be taking public transport, be warned: thanks to some Melbourne Cup thing blocking roads in the city, the trams to MMM will be leaving from outside the Art Gallery on St Kilda road 'till 1.30pm Monday 5th - you can't catch a tram from Swanston Street like you would usually.

Oooh, did you hear them talking up the rally today? This would be so fun to attend. I just don't think I could go. Firstly someone would notice the children, and give me those (no idea) "People should need a licence to have children! What is she doing bringing them here?" type looks. Secondly, I just don't think I have the gumption to go anyway. I mean I do actually have the hots for Tony, and what will I do if he actually looks at me? What the hell am I going to do then? I honestly don't know how those dolly birds/groupie slags do it.

I'm trying to get my boss to let me off early (usually finish about 3:30) to go as I'm hoildays after Monday for a few weeks and I do work on St Kilda Road so I'm going to give it a go with cape (towel) attached.

Much love and kisses to all who turned up to the rally. I was very jealous as I listened at home. And they walked amongst! Very cool.

I was going to point and laugh at anyone who turned up to Brissy office. Much to everyone's disappointment - not a single person. Probably couldn't get past the Transcontinential haha

About 150 people turn up to the Melbourne Rally. A great early moment was that The Veronicas turn up in a black hummer and when they came out of it after about 5 minutes, no one gave 2 hoots about them and people shouted "Nik Kreshaw" at them when entering the Austereo building. Great from the boys to duck down to ground level before, during and after the show to show themselves and show support to what we were doing. Was also good to see everyone happy and no one caused trouble at the rally. Good work from The Cage team to provid a BBQ-sausage sizzle for lunch 4 the people who rocked up and the MMM news team telling people about what was happening outside the building before Get This started as we yelled "Oh me plums" over and over again as the organiser spoke about the mission to save Get This.
