Interesting article. Always wondered why he pissed farted around with his name, I did once think it was just poorly researched journos that changed his name from Wood to Woodley, as they did with Lane to Colin Lano, I read somewhere once. But no, it turns out he just likes to keep private things, well private. I too come from a big brood, and the various personalities, exploits and shades of light and dark are so varied and sensational, it is usually best to keep mum on the whole lot. 6 degrees of seperation can be frighteningly real!
This 'Possessed' show intrigues me no end. Would love to go see it, but I was stunned by the cost of a ticket - Tightarse Tues $35!! Eeek! Normal $45-$50!! Double Eeek! But I would like to complete the circle of comedy history as it were, what with having the Found Objects perform at my school in '88 (complete with embarassing moment of the teachers filing all the students out after their first fake/gag curtain call, then the agony of filing us all back in) and I was there at the Carlton Court House on the opening night of Lano & Woodley, sans Scottapher. <Sigh> Great comedy days. But yeah, I'm fascinated to see how he is solo. Anyone from Adelaide seen?
