I know I've seen sections of it: the animatronic battle, the wishing well ... Those are on the Champagne edition. But is there also an easter egg on the Bargearse/TOD DVD?

I popped through there on my last trip to Melbourne with my friend who has never seen the show. He didn't see the humour in it. Thought it was shithouse, and probably made the wish that he wasn't in Glenrowan anymore. I couldn't control my laughter, which meant that some icy stares were given to me. Oh well haha

Was watching Sunrise this morning and Sam and Kochie were talking about Glenrowan. Sam seemed surprised that Kochie enjoyed the animatronic show, and I noticed she stole the guys' gear when she claimed that Ned Kelly figure looked like Keith Richards.

I drove through there on a long weekend road trip, paid $20-odd dollars to check out the exhibit. Nothing has changed since 1993, except for the large hole bin that Tony wore, and the place has had a fresh layer of paint.

I couldn't stop laughing at how badly tacky the final room of the exhibition was... the bit just after the hanging... and the song. Oh, god.. the song..

A couple I know, took their children on a road trip through Victoria, and towns in Southern New South Wales.
They mentioned stopping in Glenrowan. They were just as underwhelmed by their experience in Glenrowan, as Mick and Tony were.
My partner and I went there at Easter, and as Late Show fans we had to go and see the animatronic display. I got the feeling the guy at the front desk was a bit tired of hearing about Mick and Tony's sketch, but the crazy guy with the bell is still there and he thought it was great. :)

I stopped there on the way to Melbourne a few years ago, there's a really nice bakery there.

Foolhardycousingeorge and I just got back from a weekend in Wangaratta via Glenrowan.

The wishing well is gone. Unless we were looking in the wrong place, we couldn't find it. The Ned Kelly animatronic show is still operating with the same owner that Mick and Tony met. After a fire in 2002 which destroyed the whole complex it was completely rebuilt.

We talked to him and he seemed like a nice man, but he still walks around ringing his bell. Still, he's very passionate about Ned Kelly and you can't knock him for that.

The gift shop is still selling the same activity book containing the Ned Kelly dot to dot, which has been in print since 1979.

A little girl who was there with her mum got scared so she had to take her outside for a few minutes to recover. It turns out the disclaimer sign out the front warning that this attraction frightens people of all ages is necessary after all.

My favourite line from the sketch is in the animatronic display:
"You can't hurt me! I'm made of steel!"

Only for Tony to say on the commentary "I'm made of steel!"

Can someone with the collection at hand and the abilty, upload the whole sketch - I need to explain Kelly Kola and Red Ned to someone.

There is the credit montage on one of the Tube sites (thanks ABC) but no gift shop action.

Cheers..
