Re: What was the last DVD you bought?

Several over the past few months. I just bought: Series 3 and 4 of The IT Crowd although this show is now on Netflix and appears to be a constant fixture on ABC Comedy. Seasons 4 and 5 of The Muppet Show from a seller in North America. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker just to be a completist. The co...

Re: Not with the GOOD SCISSORS!

The link is no longer available, but this forum member recalls this routine fondly. Apart from "the good scissors", did this routine discuss violent video games being based on violent films? Tony said that if his Mum designed a video game, then it would be based on films like Babette's Feast or Howa...

Re: The Four Kinsmen

Yes, probably. The Four Kinsmen appeared on YTT in around 1983. I think the performance was the same as the one you linked to. Thanks for finding it.

This is a montage. Among the clips Johnny Young is seen introducing the group on YTT, but the full performance isn't shown.

Re: Bad Movies from when you were young

Love Lines was a weak comedy from 1984. It starred Michael Winslow, and Mary Beth Evans (best known for her work on daytime drama serials). Channel Nine would show films like Love Lines at 9:30 on Saturday nights, after Hey Hey It's Saturday and 21 Jump Street . I just watched Love Lines . Awful.

Re: The 3AW Breakfast Show

John Burns will retire after 20 years as the co-host of the Breakfast Show on the Melbourne Radio Station, 3AW. There has been speculation about who may replace him. Names include Glenn Robbins, Steve Quartermaine, or Rob Sitch. I guess we'll find out in the middle of the year after the Tokyo Olympi...

Mia Sitch is the daughter of Rob and Jane.

A story about her appeared in Tuesday's Herald-Sun.

On New Year's Eve I took a scenic flight over Antarctica. I've purchased a souvenir DVD showing highlights of the Antarctic continent.
