Bad Eggs...ahead of its time?

Post by Little Fat Kid » Mon Aug 10, 2015 2:28 am

I remember when I was nine years old and my Dad taking me to see "Bad Eggs". The year before he took me to see "Crackerjack" and I liked it, but "Bad Eggs" did and still blows me away. Imagine years later when I realised the film wasn't as well received as it was by young me. I think it may have been a little ahead of its time...the self awareness of it all seemed to make reviewers a little cold towards it. Now, movies like Bad Eggs pop up more often, that same self aware genre film. Can't get enough of this film, makes it all the sadder that Tony didn't keep going with writing/directing major feature film material like this.
