What was the last CD you bought?

Post by foolhardycousingeorge »

Right.

Here's a new thread.

Although it is said that digital music sales, mean that people are not buying Compact Discs anymore, this could be a discussion topic.

Why?

I imagine that some of us buy CDs if there are singers or bands that we really like. We prefer to obtain our music 'honestly and through legitimate means.' We have much more earning capacity now, than we did during our youth. So, we have been buying the albums we couldn't afford during our teens. Some music cannot be obtained on digital platforms.

To start off, the last CD I bought, was by Vanilla Ninja. They were an all female rock band from Estonia.

I've been trying to (finally) get around to buying all the TISM cds I couldn't afford in the 90s. Turns out I still can't afford them now.

I just bought some CDs by two Scottish bands.

The Story, by Runrig, and Live at the Lake, from The Red Hot Chilli Pipers.

I bought two CDs. The Ones That Got Away, and The Last Dance: Farewell Concert. Both are by a Scottish band called Runrig.
