John Harrison

Post by Tubbs Farquhar » Tue Apr 17, 2012 10:53 pm

Former D-Gen member John Harrison, now general counsel for GE Australia/New Zealand, gave a talk on commercial law at my Law School today.

I wanted to ask him why the cupboard wasn't moving...

How is John these days?
"Well David, what do you think of the Andromeda Galaxy?"
"I gave it four billion stars."
"Me too."

Oh my god, please tell me he works in the microwave oven programming division, and is responsible for the 3rd type of heat.

Any footage, Tubbs?

Speaking of footage. Last night at a Paul McDermott gig, I saw the most outrageous bootlegging ever perform on an iPAD!! Yeah, that's not at all rude or disruptive to the people around you. Blah.

No footage, unfortunately.

Which is a shame because he looks exactly the same. I did a double-take when I first saw him.

John always looked like he was fresh out of primary school on D-Gen anyway. I can't imagine how bizarre that would have been to have him walk out to lecture.

I had a bit of a crush on him back in the day! Nice to know he is doing well and that there's a D-Gen member actually doing something useful with their degree :-D:p

I'd like to know why it took him from 1979 to 1986 to finish his degree. From memory Mick was doing an Arts degree, but he never finished it.
Actor Melvyn Hayes and stars of the Carry On films.

Didn't they take time off to do that regional tour? And that long season at Last Laugh?
