Degrees of separation between us/them.

What's with all these people who have suddenly emerged out of the woodwork with excellent quality Beta tapes and the like?

Can anyone throw any light on this topic? How many degrees of separation? :) I can think of a few roundabout ways that might connect me to them, eg Trhough IMDB, I have discovered one of my mum's good friends was in 'ANZACS' the mini series with Paul Hogan. Then where? On a more tenuous note, I did meet Cher once, and I accidentally honked at Michael Hutchence's hearse. Does that help? I used to be better at the Kevin Bacon game when I had a better memory... once I worked out I had six degrees of separation to Pope John Paul II, but I can't work out why or how.

I know somebody who has a close relative that boffed Totti Goldsmith. I can't be bothered working out the connection but that's got to get me in there somewhere.

I have a friend whose photo appeared on The Late Show (the guy posing with Gene Cernan the astronaut).

Also spotted my art teacher from high school in the audience when they did the show up in Sydney.

Did you notice they didn't blur out the addresses of letters sent in on the earlier episodes?

Ha! I would have puked if I saw my art teacher from school in the Late Show audience. We were very upset when this English teacher we loved to hate asked us if we watched TLS the other night. Hehe... memories.

Re: the letters being read out... excellent. I always thought those were made up!
