"Oy! Don't touch me bike!"

That was from Mick's review of the naff Paul Mercurio movie (is there any other kind?) Back of Beyond in the Martin/Molloy days.

When Mercurio joined the cast of All Saints, playing a plumber, this became, "Oy! Don't touch me pipes!"
Actor Melvyn Hayes and stars of the Carry On films.

From the sketch about the first Australians in space, as seen in The Best of the original D-Generation video (now on DVD)

"Unreal mate, unreal!"

Sylvania Waters

Post by WarrenPerso » Tue Jul 10, 2007 7:23 pm

Watching Sylvania Waters the other night on ABC2 (a must watch) reminded me of the line from the "Noelene" song...

"...looking remarkably like......Oliver Reed in a wig"

Acland Street

Mick (on Acland St with a delightful man with a thick European accent - who was wearing a cap that resembled an Olympic Medal) -

" Got to get that cap!"

The Man -

"..Get that.... get that quwwwick!"
"...in the washroom at McDonalds'...spraying water on your pants... so it looks as tho ya pissed yourself blues"

g'day Warren! (great username)

I don't think it was Acland St....i think that was from the Marrickville (Sydney ep) street interview wasn't it?

it was indeed Marrickville:

Tony: "And you heard the news?"
German guy: "Yeah!"
Tony: "What did you do?"
German guy: "Everything, the best! And I got a nice cup of tea mit toast."
Mick: "I heard you ran round the house naked with your underpants round your head!"
German guy: "Nothing, you done it!"

and of course there's the "We have too many Members of Parliament, State and Federal, they should be sacked in half, the bastards!" and "Not Miss, MR!"

Not exactly a quote, but in the Spassky vs. Fischer chess match sketch...

"*Rob flails arms in the air*"

If we're going to do non-verbals, I really have to comment on the hilarity of Jase's facial expression on 'Cop Killer'. Oh man, I literally burst in to laughter when I saw that again recently.

God! TLS is all about non-verbals for me! (Well, not all about..) Every single minute of G & the C for a start. But of course, my favourite, yes you know it, "I think you ordered some champagne comedy". Squidgy tummy, back in the day.
