Does he talk to any people I might like? Is there a listen of episodes somewhere I can have look at?

He doesn't actually usually have guests on the show. That show was NOTHING like any of the others he's done. His stuff is mostly topical, so I'd recommend just listening to the latest episode and see if you like the style. It's VERY VERY dry witted humour and mostly relies on him just reading stuff in the paper and without pointing it out, it becomes incredibly ridiculous how contradictory and in what state of disrepair the US is. I gave a more vivid description elsewhere actually now that I think of it...

Le Show is probably almost a substitute for the news in part for me, it's really that informative about the world, or at the very least the US. He has a segment called "Listen to the warm" where he updates news about climate warming and stuff. He reads "the trades" which is taken from marketting magazines and you get insights into how crazy the advertising world has become. And his sketches are almost always perfect. He's been doing the show for more than 20 years now. As well as being a constant update of how things are progressing in New Orleans, as although he does the broadcast from LA every sunday without fail, he actually lives in the Big Easy. He also keeps a careful eye on the US government and Iraq. One of the sketches he used to do often was "Clintonsomething" with the 40 something music as the intro to it. It actually took me a few months, maybe a year to realise it was actually him doing the Clinton impersonation because it's so spot on and so different from his actual voice. These days he does phone calls from 43 to 41 (the US presidents) i.e. Bush, jr. and sr.

ARGH! GODDAMNIT!!

If I had known about this earlier, I could've accessed it.

I just discovered when I was an AFTRS student in 2005 - 2006, I had access to:

Behind The Frontline [videorecording]
[Australia] : Frontline Television Productions in association with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, 1995.

and

Anyone can access the AFTRS library SS. I used to visit friends who were studying there when I was in Sydney for a few months.

The libary is open to all, and surprisingly full of books. Including one for "Bluey".

Annoyingly most of the actual film and sound archives themselves are stalled in the Australian National Archive warehouses in a suburb called "Mitchel" Think of a poor mans Fishwick...

The Building itself used to be the National Anatomy Something-or-other (before my time), apparently they still get requests to see "Farlap's Heart" which used to be on display there.
