The lastest news on Jane, TV Hits 1994
Media Botch: The Sitch Report, Sunday Herald-Sun, May 8 1994
page 2
More bits, including 'Most tedious "In" sayings' by Tom Gleisner, from where, I'm not sure, maybe that shithouse ABC mag? And a photo of pissed, Pirate Jane.
Also includes a pic of Jane with Kate Cebrano when she was on that show. Does anyone have a copy of that? I either lost it or threw it out, like an idiot (although a highly-frazzled-new-mum type idiot. So I'll just go ahead and cut myself some slack). Or does anyone have this really bizarre episode of Attitude with these two kids who were trying to get into comedy? They went and sought advice from Rob, Jimeoin and Tim Ferguson. It was such an amazing bit of television, where you were in a constant state of agony, cringing at these awkward kids, who really were putting it all on the line, only to spectacularily fail at their stand-up gigs. I can't remember too much about the girl, except that her act was dreadful. The boy though, I remember. He worked at a Safeway deli and was an officer in the Salvation Army. As much as I thought they were dorks, with little to no comic potential, I can look back now and admire them for giving it a bash. I always remember my Dad pooh poohing Rob for making a joke out of his 'Advisor' role. He did a graph on the whiteboard (he loves those, doesn't he?) where the comedy coefficient was x, etc. But I totally got it, there really is no 'comedy school'. Weeell, maybe, but you probably need talent to begin with. Anyway, yet another thing I can't believe I threw out.

I definitely remember the episode.....I remember the Rob Sitch graph too....I was pretty jealous of that kid at the time (getting to hang out with Rob). I'm sure I have it recorded somewhere but I don't have a clue where....one day I'll find it...

I've got the episode of Attitude on tape. You're right, I can't remember anything about the girl, but the boy was in the Salvation Army I seem to recall.

Ooh, maybe we can do trade? Would love to see it again, in all it's cringe glory.

Nothing would make me happier, menagers, but I probably shouldn't mention this stuff. All my tapes are in cardboard boxes. In the garage. In Queensland.

And here's me in Sussex.
