Nice to see they still acknowledge the history of the station.

So scarce nowdays in many media corporations.

Very cool.
I just want to pop him on a bit of toast and eat him right up.

That is way cool. I just relived my entire teenage years looking round that site! I reckon I was glued to EON FM from about 1984 onwards :)

Bizarre, eerie feeling! That sticker I had on my mirror, my headboard, my wardrobe...

Remember in about 1990 when Triple M used to do a massive series of "Triple M Rocks....." stickers, and you could even order ones with community groups or company names on them?

Well, for years and years the back of my car had a "Triple M Rocks the D-Generation" sticker. I was more upset about losing that sticker than I was about losing my car when it was eventually stolen....

I was actually looking around the site for mention of those stickers! The exact same thing happened to us! We had some sort of canary yellow Toyota Corona that I was devastated to see sold off with that sticker! I remember the latest I saw one of those stickers on the road was about '95 - not a bad effort!

Ah, well, you mustn't have come across my car then, I managed to preserve that sticker right up to the day it was stolen and never seen again! Date of my car theft 8/8/2000, from the carpark of Chadstone Shopping Centre.

BTW, if anyone sees a red LH 1974 Holden Torana, registration MFC71 (special edition Melbourne Football Club number plates given to me by my dad) with a Triple M rocks the D-Generation sticker on the back window, can you let me know? I've always wondered what became of that car......
