Fire in the Stone.

While I offer up this as a bad movie from when I was young I have a friend who actually wants a copy of this. Does anyone know where we can find one? It had Paul Smith in it. You know the guy from Henderson Kids. I remember having to do a book report on it at Primary School and then we watched the movie.

My friend said he managed to get a copy from the UK, but it had been reduffed for the UK market with British accents. Doesn't quite sound the same when the movie is supposed to be set in an Aussie Opal Mine.
I remember seeing a bit of this. During the summer after The Henderson Kids aired, Channel Nine showed a pile of telemovies that Paul Smith had starred in.

A few of these films have found their way on to Region 2 DVD in the Saturday Morning Pictures series (although I think the DVDs may well be deleted now so will set you back a fair bit if you want to buy them). I saw a couple a few years ago: Egghead's Robot and The Adventures of Hal. They were a bit pissweak if I'm honest.

I'd dearly love to see 1984's Pop Pirates again, mind, but I don't think that's ever seen the light of day on DVD.
Pop Pirates is on Youtube now.

Pop Pirates is on Youtube now. Apart from Ant Jones who starred in Grange Hill, and was a heart throb, Roger Daltrey is in it too.
