Re: Getting to Know You

Did Mike Mead look like a dried out junkie to anyone else bar me? Hmmm. An interesting question. I remembered you asked this many years ago when I first joined this forum. On the weekend I was watching Rage Goes Retro which included a segment from the ABC show Flashez. One of the hosts was Mike Mea...

Re: S01E04 Songs of the Highlands/Monotony Remastered

Good work. Does anyone know where the Songs of the Highlands sketch was filmed?

Re: Bad Movies from when you were young

The Toy is now on Itunes movies. I just watched it this afternoon. I didn't laugh at all. Perhaps given the current climate, or because I just did not find The Toy at all funny.

Re: What was the last DVD you bought?

I have bought two in the post-Christmas sales. First, the complete series of The Kenny Everett Video Show . I haven't seen this since it aired on the ABC around 1983-84. I recall sketches like Electric Meat, Finger Power, Mighty Boots, and characters like Brother Lee Love. Fatty Finn. This was relea...

Re: What was the last DVD you bought?

Several over the past few months. I just bought: Series 3 and 4 of The IT Crowd although this show is now on Netflix and appears to be a constant fixture on ABC Comedy. Seasons 4 and 5 of The Muppet Show from a seller in North America. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker just to be a completist. The co...

Re: Not with the GOOD SCISSORS!

The link is no longer available, but this forum member recalls this routine fondly. Apart from "the good scissors", did this routine discuss violent video games being based on violent films? Tony said that if his Mum designed a video game, then it would be based on films like Babette's Feast or Howa...

Re: The Four Kinsmen

Yes, probably. The Four Kinsmen appeared on YTT in around 1983. I think the performance was the same as the one you linked to. Thanks for finding it.

This is a montage. Among the clips Johnny Young is seen introducing the group on YTT, but the full performance isn't shown.
