I'd be happy to share/trade. I also made a DVD this week of "the best of" Flash Nick, the Errol & Neil episode of "Wollongong The Brave" (was it WTB? I just read somewhere someone claiming it was a n episode of "The Of Show", but that's news to me), and some "Boy's Own McBeth" stuff. Oh, also made a DVD this week of a one-show Spike Milligan did in Perth in 1984. Now that I've finally got this beautiful Sanyo Beta front-loader, I'm away!

Ah Beta. I'd love to see the Milligan show too!

I don't know exactly what numbered episodes I have. I do remember though that the show ended very abruptly, and all of a sudden the next week was some joker called Rove doing a show instead. But anyway, I had a look at what I've got this arvo, and this is a run-down of the segments I have from two eps:

Archive segment - 3 men in bowler hats dancing
Mick, Pendo, Bob & Lazza (rugby person)
Pendo & T. Martin at the Melbourne Storm
Ben Folds Five song
Mick, Dave, Patchy & Liam: "What Was Elvis Thinking?"
Film review: "Arlington Road"
------------------------------------------------------------------
Driving with Mini Mick
Judith Lucy via satellite from Edinburgh
Tony Martin via satellite from Edinburgh
Bob: Hell's Angels anecdote & Bob's Scrapbook
Mock drink-drive ad (changing pants)
Dave nightclubbing with his dad
Archive segment: pogo-stick music band
Bob: "How Delightful" segment
Movie sequels. Pete Smith bloopers. "Eyes Wide Shut" spoof
Wrap up
Hessie's band with Steve Cummings perform "Don't Talk To Me About Love".

Anyway, you guys probably have these. I'd be curious though to know what number/date episodes I have.

Thanks

Hurrah! I'd love to get the end from you - and if you want the rest of the series, just let me know.

No problem there. I'm just delighted that I actually have something in my collection that is of some interest to someone. PM me and we can work out what you need.

G'Day guys, just came across this thread, while looking up NFZ for a laugh. I can fill in a little bit more.
I actually went to a couple of tapings of News Free Zone at the ABC studio at Collinswood, Adelaide.
It wasn't bad actually, everyone had fun doing it. Tickets weren't hard to get!

Yeah, as comedy shows go, it was pretty middle of the road quality, low budget ABC fare. Graham Bond was pretty much relying on his Aunty Jack minor characters, but still I got to annoy my school mates with Kev Kavanagh quotes.

Now the Kev Kavanagh song went like this as far as I can recall (the audience had to learn it for a sketch).

I'm a dead Bodgie and I dig meat.
I love to give people "Bewdies" just to see 'em freak.
And when I call them "Turkey" it really blows their mind,
'cause I'm the deadest Bodgie, man, that you will ever find.
So don't be a gherkin, a goose or a grub,
'cause you'll get "got a Bewdie" at the Kev Kavanagh Club!

Chorus:
Goin' round like a rissole, round like a rissole, goin' round.
Eh Eh Eh Eh Eh
[repeat]

I remember that you could get Kev Kavanagh Club badges at the ABC shop for $1. I wish I bought some!

He had a few other characters as well, I seem to recall a super-obese man called Mervyn Sponge, I think. Happy to be corrected though.

Cheers,
Brad
