Little Lunch

Post by foolhardycousingeorge »

Have any forum members seen the new series Little Lunch?

This is shown during afternoons on ABC3.

Little Lunch was conceived by Wayne Hope and Robyn Butler.

I watched the first few episodes, after some recommendations by a couple of TV critics.

The cast includes Heidi Arena, (who played Audrey Gordon in Audrey's Kitchen).

The kids in the show seem to be a talented group of young actors. Among them, is Joshua Sitch. Joshua is the son of Rob Sitch, and Jane Kennedy.

Not yet, did you like it? Looks like the kind of thing my 5yo will enjoy watching.

I was right -- we've watched about six straight episodes. Probably it is just me but Joshua Sitch kind of reminds me a bit of Piffy.. in a good way!

I watched the first few episodes of Little Lunch. I l enjoyed t.

Joshua Sitch and Piffy. I wasn't reminded of Piffy by Joshua Sitch. I wondered how much Joshua's parents influenced him to develop an interest in acting?

Yeah, there was a distinct lack of bell-ringing by Joshua :) Not sure what it was that reminded me of him! Anyway he did a great job, as did all the other actors. The whole mockumentary style thing worked really well in the microcosm of school life recess dramas
