Re: Book Cover in TAYG opening titles

Post by foolhardycousingeorge »

In the opening titles of TAYG, the cover of a book appeared.

Some time ago, I'm sure that a forum member asked whether anyone knew what this book was?

I just watched a clip from TAYG on Youtube.

I believe that it could have been this:

The following appeared in Stellar magazine (from Sunday editions of News Limited newspapers).

As well as author and comedian, your CV has you down as a ‘bon vivant’. What does this mean, apart from a velvet smoking jacket?

I actually wear a passive smoking jacket. For the most part, it means throwing my head back and laughing as I pat people on the back. It’s very annoying.

Is it a hard industry to break into, bon vivanting?

You need to know someone.

You chucked in a law career for showbiz. How did your parents react?

They were very supportive, and have been of everything I do. They’re quite easily manipulated.

Where do you find your inspiration for your comedy series The Ex-PM? There’s so much to choose from.

It’s more a question of which bits to leave out. A lot of Tony Abbot is unbelievable, so we tone it down.

What made you write a children’s book?

I knew I’d be brilliant at it. And I was right. The book will probably replace those ones by Andy Griffiths on the bestseller list.

What’s up next?

I’m building a giant robot, which I hope will run amok and destroy a city (Adelaide).

Anyone still have the files from Vega breakfast radio with Shaun Denise Dave? The previous links from years ago don't work

I think I have some floating around, but not complete. If I find them, I'll upload.

I'm sure if you ask at http://www.shaunmicallefonline.com/ they might be able to help a little more.

Hey guys, if I want to check out page number 137 (random number) on this thread, is there a shorter, less tedious way of getting there rather than clicking every fourth page back until I eventually get there?

Change the number right at the end of the address to a digit before, to get that page - just leave the "zero" at the end of it.

IE: This page is Page 299, it's showing as Page 2980 at end of the domain name:

Code: Select all

If you want, say... Page 137, it'll look like this:

Code: Select all

Next Sunday there's the Mad as Hell Pagan Holiday Special on TV, the first ever mad as hell Christmas special. I'm definitely looking forward to some more mad as hell because at this time of year there's never really anything good on TV.
