Re: Glenrowan
I stopped there on the way to Melbourne a few years ago, there's a really nice bakery there.
and calling it policy!
Re: Glenrowan
My partner and I went there at Easter, and as Late Show fans we had to go and see the animatronic display. I got the feeling the guy at the front desk was a bit tired of hearing about Mick and Tony's sketch, but the crazy guy with the bell is still there and he thought it was great.Postby foolhardycousingeorge » 17 Oct 2014 17:04
A couple I know, took their children on a road trip through Victoria, and towns in Southern New South Wales.
They mentioned stopping in Glenrowan. They were just as underwhelmed by their experience in Glenrowan, as Mick and Tony were.

I drove through there on a long weekend road trip, paid $20-odd dollars to check out the exhibit. Nothing has changed since 1993, except for the large hole bin that Tony wore, and the place has had a fresh layer of paint.
I couldn't stop laughing at how badly tacky the final room of the exhibition was... the bit just after the hanging... and the song. Oh, god.. the song..

Was watching Sunrise this morning and Sam and Kochie were talking about Glenrowan. Sam seemed surprised that Kochie enjoyed the animatronic show, and I noticed she stole the guys' gear when she claimed that Ned Kelly figure looked like Keith Richards.

I popped through there on my last trip to Melbourne with my friend who has never seen the show. He didn't see the humour in it. Thought it was shithouse, and probably made the wish that he wasn't in Glenrowan anymore. I couldn't control my laughter, which meant that some icy stares were given to me. Oh well haha

I know I've seen sections of it: the animatronic battle, the wishing well ... Those are on the Champagne edition. But is there also an easter egg on the Bargearse/TOD DVD?
