Good question, Alchemistal. I'm not sure if the same URLs get carried over for internal posts and links! Can anyone tell if they still work once you change the directory name?

SS I am ready to "switch over" - I have just changed the old forum to "inactive" mode, and have renamed the directory to "oldforum" on the server - leaving it on there for a bit just in case we do run into any issues.
Are you able to edit the Wordpress navigation link to the forum and change "newforum" to "forum" on the server? Once that is done then we should be back to normal
